The Indian Environment Minister, Jayanthi Natarajan, has written a letter communicating issues for the agenda of the high-level (ministerial) segment of the 11th Conference of the Parties to the Convention on Biological Diversity (COP11) to be held in Hyderabad in October 2012. The issues are:

1. Biodiversity and Livelihoods
2. Integration of value of Biodiversity in National Planning and Accounting Process
3. Strategic Resource Mobilization
4. Coastal and Marine Biodiversity
5. Operationalisation of Nagoya Protocol
