The UK environment department - Defra - has been running a national forum for policy, science, business and others on the ecosystem approach: the Natural Capital Initiative. Just launched under the NCI is the Ecosystems Knowledge Network to allow sharing of information and knowledge.
The UK Living With Environmental Change (LWEC) network has provided a list of current and emerging knowledge sources on environmental research and related projects - includes reference to forthcoming information on use of information from the OPAL citizen science project in the Water Directive and on ecosystem approach data for UK river catchments.
Launched under the UK Natural Capital Initiative, the Ecosystems Knowledge Network is a mechanism for sharing knowledge on the ecosystems approach.
The UK National Ecosystem Assessment reporting has been launched with a Synthesis report - links to the 27 more detailed reports available also, but these are currently in a range of states of completion.
